Our property management team has more than 45 years’ experience in putting landlords at ease.
We truly do look after your asset as if it were our own.
A Burns & Co property manager is a specialist trained in overseeing the entire asset management process from beginning to end.
You can be confident Burns & Co will provide better management of your property for two reasons:
We recognise the importance of maintaining and managing your rental property as an important part of your investment portfolio.
We understand your property should not be regarded simply as a source of rental income, but also a valuable and appreciating capital asset.
The long-term success of your investment requires confident knowledge of rental laws and technicalities, tenant and landlord rights, lease structures, how to negotiate with tenants and handle problems professionally, local tribunals, when to conduct rent reviews and who to turn to for maintenance. This is where Burns & Co can help.

Marketing Your Property
The more applications we generate, the faster we can nominate a suitable tenant. That’s why we offer inclusion in our rental list and website, window displays, “For Lease” boards, online advertising and more.
Upon receipt of applications, we conduct a thorough reference check including employment and previous landlords. We also keep you in the loop with regular updates throughout the process.
Once a tenant is approved with you, we prepare the lease, lodge the bond, deposit the first rental payment in our trust account and prepare a comprehensive condition report including photos at the beginning of the tenancy.
Managing Your Tenancy
We ensure prompt payments and provide regular statements with income and expenditure. We arrange qualified tradespeople for maintenance and repairs when required and conduct regular inspections, providing written reports and photos.
1. Promote your property to attract the ‘right’ tenant and maximise your rental income
